Trip to Guilin, China (part 2)

Hi my lovely readers,

As promised, this is part 2 of my Guilin Trip photos. Enjoy. Pls click here for Part 1 photos.

Walking up the mountain to visit one of the tribes who lived up the hills.

Stopping halfway to take photo

the beautiful view on the way up

The houses of the hill people

Their women keep their hair long as a symbol of beauty. She is demonstarting how to tie her hair. Notice that there are 2 bundles of her hair, both are real. One bundle was her hair that was cut when she was 16 yrs old, another one is the hair that drops daily when she combs her hair, she will picked them up and compile it into another bundle. She would tie her hair together with these 2 bundles of real hair to form a big bun. How interesting...

These ties are hand sewn. Price - RM150 to RM200 per piece. No repeat designs.

A girl sewing the tie, it takes one month to complete a tie.

A "work in progress" tie.

A girl sewing a bag.

A view from my hotel balcony

Buying oranges by the roadside

I like this pic

Elephant Hill (Photo taken from inside the bus)

Some scenic view - photos taken from a moving train.

Some Koi fish in the pond inside a restautrant.
I love to see Koi fish swimming. It makes me calm and happy!

Thanks for viewing.

Which scenery do u like best?  Love to see your comments.
