How have you been keeping lately? I hope you are well. It's mid June now and I hope you have made some interesting beauty find.

As for me, I have something interesting to share.

Guerlain has organized a get together for bloggers to learn more about their latest summer collection - Terra Azzurra by Emilio Pucci. As you know, I love everything French especially French Manicure that I have not been sporting for a while. 

The event was held at Alexis, the Gardens. We were priviledged to have Maxime Poulin to demonstrate how to create the summer look using the Terra Azzurra collection. Maxime is a Frenchman and it was great to be able to hear him pronounced "Guerlain" and "Orchidee Imperiale" the skincare range made from 3 types of special Orchid flowers.

We tried the the Orchidee Imperiale Cream on our hands and it really has a very smooth texture. The Orchidee Imperiale Cream is an anti ageing cream for day and night use.

The Bronzing Powder - RM294

 The Bronzing powder is the star of the collection. It can be used as a bronzer or a blusher. The casing is exceptionally beautiful and it is nice to hold.

Meteorites Perles D'Azur - RM189

Of all the items,  Meteorites Perles D'Azur is the one that caught my eye because it is so pretty - the packaging and the pearls. It can be used as a bronzing powder or a loose powder (if your skin is not the oily type).

The pearls have 3 effects:
1. blue & pink - correcting the yellow tones in tired complexions
2. beige & orange - warm up the complexion and create an even tan
3. ivory & white gold - are light reflectors that can illuminate the skin without a whitening effect

I personally think that the Terracotta eye shadow has very wearable colors. They are good for beginners and the color is suitable for everyday use. You can create a subtle look or play with the black to create more dimension or depth.

For us Malaysians with summer whole year round, this collection works best for us. If you have the budget, why not get one or two items that you like.
