Today, I would like to show you the Skin Food Choco Melt Lip Tube that I use almost daily. I leave one in my handbag.

Why I like it:

It looks good on its own. It keeps my lips moist in the air-cond office.
I do not need to apply lipstick if I apply the pink shade.
Note: The brown shade is more neutral and can be applied before or after lipstick application. For those who like it nude, you will prefer the brown shade.

Skin Food Extra Virgin Olive Essence

Hi everyone

I hope you are doing fine. Today, I will be reviewing Skin Food Extra Virgin Olive Essence.
This is a hair care product.

I have been using this product regularly (at least 2 times a week) and find that it is quite effective in detangling my hair and provide luster. I love this product because it is not oily and it uses extra virgin olive oil.

Product Description:
Treatment serum with well-refined extra virgin olive oil to control curls and unkemptness and to provide luster to hair.

How to  Use:

Shampoo hair and towel dry, pump a small amount into your palms, rub your hands and apply on your hair. I apply on my hair ends only. One to 2 pumps is sufficient for me.

Ingredients:
Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Hydrogenated Polydecene, Oleo Europaea (Oilive) Fruit Oil, Parfum.

Eye Makeup Tutorial (Brown)

Hi everyone, 

Today I am going to show u a tutorial on how to apply brown eyeshadow.
I learnt this technique during a workshop organized by Lancome in 2009.
 

 

For this look, you will need:

1. 3 shades of eye shadow (dark brown, light brown and skin color) - I am using Silky Girl Mocha Latte no 16 and Elianto e/s)

2. Kohl Pencil (I am using Stage Kohl Pencil in # 01 Karma Kohl)

3. Eye shadow brush (from Estee Lauder) + a tool that can smudge the kohl pencil color (see step 2 pic below)

4. Black Liquid eyeliner  (In 2 It)


5. Mascara (Clinique lash power mascara in 01 Black Onyx)

  

Step: 1 - use the Kohl pencil and color your eyelid area, open your eyes to see the areas that you wish to cover, for a more dramatic look, color it higher. 

Pls note that kohl pencil and your normal eye liner pencil is not the same, kohl pencil is easier to blend.

  

 Step 2 : smudge the kohl color with a tool shown below.

  

Step 3: apply dark brown eye shadow over the kohl pencil area and blend

  

Step 4: apply light brown eye shadow above the dark brown e/s and blend

Step 5: apply the skin color e/s below the brow bone and blend

Step 6: Apply eye liner and mascara

French Manicure with flower (LAV 008)

Today I want to share with you French Manicure with a little floral design. Notice that I have trimmed my long nails.

Sequence of Application:

1. Base coat
2. Nail color (2x)
3. draw the frech tip (i use free hand as it's less messy)
   
4. draw design with nail art pen/brush
5. Top coat
6. Color used: Sally Hansen French Manicure set (no 3416 - Sheer Mocha)

The items used are shown below:

 

After base coat, apply sheer color (2x)

  

Draw the french tip (left hand)

  

Draw the french tip for right hand

  

 Draw the flowers with nail art pen (right hand) and apply top coat 

  

Draw Flowers for the left hand and apply top coat

Red packet is a symbolic item used by the Chinese to give blessing and good luck to one another. Traditionally, it is only given by the married couple to children and those who are single.
Money will be placed in the packet. My red packet below are merely collections without money in them.

Originally, red packets are red in color. However, it has evolved drastically since the day it was created. Now, you can see them in varieties of colors as shown below.

Today's FOTD is done on a model. She has a smooth complexion. BB cream and loose powder is applied on the face.

Steps:

1. after eye base, apply Stage Kohl pencil , smudge the color evenly

2. apply black eyeshadow on top of the kohl pencil color

3. apply grey eye shadow above black shadow to create tone

4. apply gold color

5. apply highlighter at brow bone

6. apply liquid eyeliner, mascara and eye liner

7. apply blusher

8. apply lipstick

Valentine's Day Nail Art Design LAV 007

Today I would like to share with you Valentine's Day nail art design.It's a combination of konad stamping with hand drawn nail art. I selected a soft pink nail color to bring out the theme of "tender and sweet love".
