This mask claims to be a deep cleasing mask suitable for oily skin.

Price: RM16.90 for 134g

Do I recommend this to you: No, because it does not deliver its promise, no firming effect at all, I do not feel that my skin is deeply cleansed after using this mask. However, I would recommend you Origins Out of trouble mask for deep cleansing.

Trip to Guilin, China (part 1)

Dear Friends,

I just came back from Guilin , China on 23 Apr 2010.

Traditional Fishing Method - using local duck. The fisherman tied a string on the duck's neck and let the duck go for a swim. Notice the duck's bulging throat - there is a fish inside. See the next picture.

When the duck caught the fish, it cannot swallow, the picture below shows the fisherman removing the fish from the duck's throat.

The traditional farming method - using water buffalo.

Fruit Juice Recipe for Health

It is good if you can drink fruit and vegetable juice as often as you can, preferably in the morning on empty stomach.

If you want to ensure that your fruits and vege are free from pesticides, you have to soak it in a vege wash. You just need 30 ml of this home made vege wash for a basin of water. Soak for 40 mins.

Note: I made this vege wash using fruit skin and brown sugar. The mixture is fermented for 3 months prior to using.

Today I used apple, beet root, celery, carrot and orange.

This combination can be changed according to your liking.

Estee Lauder Gossip Girl Makeover Event

On 10 Apr 2010, I went for a one to one makeup event organized by Estee Lauder. 

Before

I was attended by a young and skillful makeup artist, Erich Yap. He shared with me how to create the smokey eye look for monolid and I am happy with the end result.

Although no liquid foundation / powder were used (due to time constraint), the effect is still good. The makeup artist only used some concealer around my eye area. I added the loose powder when I reached home.

Hi 

Today I am showing u a swatch of my old nail polish - Luminous Pearl from Sally Hansen. It was given to me by a friend who likes nail polish.

I like this color a lot because you cannot see when it is chipped. What is your usual favorite for nail polish on your fingers.

Easter Nail Art Design LAV 012

Sequence of Application:

1. Base coat
2. Nail color (2x)
3. Paint nail tip will darker shade (Toffee)
4. draw a line between the 2 colors with nail art brush
5. Top coat
6. Color used: Sally Hansen Toffee, Sheer Vanilla

Note: 

I apply the darker shade at the outer corner of the eye first.

I use clear mascara on lazy days like today - it eases the cleaning but not much impact though
