October is Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign - by Estee Lauder Company

Dear Readers

If you could still remember, last year I posted about the Walk for World Pink event organized by Estee Lauder Malaysia that I participated. Time really flies. However, to my dissapointment, this year there will be no "walk" for me. I have been waiting for this event since August. Nevermind, there will always be next year and I hope Estee Lauder Company will organize it next year.

Ok back to the topic of Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Campaign. This year will be the 14th year that Estee Lauder Group of Companies champion the BCA campaign in Malaysia to bring about greater awareness on the importance of Breast Self Examination (BSE) and early detection of breast cancer.

Walk for WORLD PINK

Hi girls

Today I am going to share with you about a long overdue story which happened on 3 Oct 09. I participated in the Walk for WORLD PINK event. It's a 3.8km walk in KL starting from KL tower and ends at the same place.

The event was organized by Estee Lauder in conjunction with breast cancer awareness. By the way October is breast cancer awareness month. Here are some pictures - note the pink ribbon painted on my face.

And don't forget to perform a regular breast self examination  (BSE) every month a week after your period.
