Do you have a Plan B?

Hi friends

Since I do not have the inspiration to write a review on products, I will be sharing with you my Plan B experience. For those who are not familiar, Plan B is actually a food outlet in Bangsar Village. I went with a few friends on Sunday for lunch and we ate pasta and burger. I do not really appreciate the decorations in the shop but food wise, here are my thoughts.

My friend ordered cabonara. It is very creamy and cheezy, would recommend this to all cabonara lovers. I am not a fan though.

I ordered this chocolate with marshmellow on top. This is very rich and creamy. RM8. Recommended to all chocolate drink fan

I ordered this spaghetti beef bolognese. It's nice but nothing too special. RM20 below

My friend ordered this beef burger and it is very nice! Thumbs up. Recommend to all beef burger fans
Just to report to you that the Aglio Olio is not very special I would say. (Sorry no photo was taken).
We also saw the breakfast set and they looked yummy, many people ordered that and I think they must be nice. They served breakfast set till late afternoon (about 6pm I think).
Ok. This is today's mini food review. Hope you liked the pictures. I am trying out some makeup and skincare products and will share with you soon when the inspiration comes. Till then, have a lovely Monday!

Fruit Juice Recipe for Health

It is good if you can drink fruit and vegetable juice as often as you can, preferably in the morning on empty stomach.

If you want to ensure that your fruits and vege are free from pesticides, you have to soak it in a vege wash. You just need 30 ml of this home made vege wash for a basin of water. Soak for 40 mins.

Note: I made this vege wash using fruit skin and brown sugar. The mixture is fermented for 3 months prior to using.

Today I used apple, beet root, celery, carrot and orange.

This is what I get:

This combination can be changed according to your liking.

Stay healthy!

Home Made Dragon Fruit Jelly, Pasta and "Chai Kueh" (Chinese Vege Dumpling)

Hi everyone,
Today I will share with you some pictures of the home cooked food that I get to eat. Few weeks ago, my mom made the dragon fruit jelly and "Chai Kueh" (Chinese Vegetable Dumpling).

The Dragon fruit jelly is made with fresh red dragon fruit and soya bean milk. No colouring is added. The recipe is created by my clever mom.

The vege dumpling is not easy to make, so many steps, you can see the picture below:

1. prepare the dough

2. Put the vege on the nicely shaped dough and fold the dough into a design.

3. The dumpling is ready to be steamed

4. The dumpling is ready to serve

5. A closer look at the delicious dumplings

yummy

I also made this pasta, for the recipe, pls click here.

Thanks for reading. Sorry for tempting you....

Roselle Flower

Hi

Today I am sharing with you my Roselle plant in my garden. This flower can be eaten raw or cooked. It can be cooked in a crock pot for 3 - 4 hrs together with some rock sugar. You will get Roselle syrup. Chill the syrup and store in the fridge. You can consume like Ribena - very natural and refreshing drink.

I also make fruit enzyme from this Roselle flower. The bad news is the plant is attacked by some parasites lately and looked as though it is dying. I planted it more than 6 months ago and it just started to bear flower but unfortunately it is dying now. I believe that students earning an online biology degree would be able to advise me on how to take care of my Roselle plant so that it would not be easily attacked by parasites.

The picture below was taken 3 weeks ago when the plant is still healthy. I need to plant a new one soon.

The plant is quite bushy, the leaves can be eaten. The night market at Taman Tun sells the leaves of Roselle plant. I inquire from an Indian lady and she explained that it can be stir fried with garlic and chili. I have not tried cooking the leaves before.
