Fasio Eye Shadow : EOTD and Product Review

Dear Friends

Just want to share with you my thoughts about Fasio eye shadow and a smokey eye look.

I bought this palette from Kose Warehouse sale in Dec 2010. The normal price is RM40 + but I got it for RM15 only. What a steal!

The color code is F-3.

The colors are very pigmented. I used the creamy base (on the left) before putting the colors.
For this look, I did not use my usual Urban Decay primer Potion  (UDPP) as a base. Read my review here.

Overall, I am very pleased with the color payoff but there are some fallout when I use a brush to apply. So, to solve the problem, I use my fingers to pat the color and later use a blending brush to blend out the colors.

No make up was used on the face as I was just trying out the eye color.

Have you tried Fasio Eye shadow before?

Have a lovely week. I am on holiday for Chinese New Year.

Product Review: 3 Designs of Fake Eye Lashes from KKCentreHK

Dear Readers

This is a picture heavy post.

I was requested to do a review on some fake lashes by KKCenterHK (Hong Kong). I viewed their website and chose 3 designs which I will show you in this post.

Actually, I have never used fake lashes before and have no idea how to apply them but by reading other beauty blogs, I figured out how to stick the lashes, but it was not a perfect job. So, please forgive me for the lack of skills.

I bought some fake lashes before this but never have the guts to use them when attending events. I feel awkward. That's just me, a wierd beauty blogger.

I would like to show you how the 3 types of fake lashes looked on my eyes.
The brand of fake lashes shown here are from ES Brand. The products are made in Korea (as stated on the box) but there are some Chinese writing inside.

Design A715 ES Brand
USD 8.40 for 10 pairs

My original lashes, no makeup, only eyeliner is used

My comments on this design A715:
1. The lashes are soft and looks natural when applied
2. It does not prick your eyes as the material is like fabric.
3. I love this design as it lengthens my lashes, you can see from the pics above

Design A222 ES Brand - handmade lashes (as written in Chinese)
USD 6.30 for 10 pairs

My comments on this design A222 :
1. The lashes are soft and looks natural when applied
2. It does not prick your eyes as the material is like fabric.
3. As compared to the first one model A715, this design A222 creates more volume, not so much of lengthening effect.

Design A24 ES Brand
USD 5.40 for 10 pairs

My comments on this design A24:
1. The lashes are not as soft as the 2 designs above. It feels a bit like "plastic"
2. However, I think this one is the most glamorous as you can see from the pics. It add curls to the lashes due to its criss cross design.

Overall, I am pleased with the lashes. There are so many designs available that I couldn't really make up my mind but I chose the more conservative ones (as you can see).

If you like dramatic lashes, you can visit KKCenterHK.
I think they ship to most countries.

So, I just want to ask you for your honest opinion, which model suits me most?

Thanks

Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Pink Spice

Dear Readers

I thought today I will do a mini review of a Clinique lipstick that I got for free during one of their roadshows in 2010.

The color I got is called Pink Spice. When I look at the color, I was not very excited as it looks dull. When I applied on my lips , they look quite natural. The texture is very smooth and there is no wierd scent or taste.
It is also not drying to my lips. This is something that is different from other long lasting lipstick.

As for the staying power, I can't comment much because everytime before I eat, I will tissue off my lipstick first. This is my habit since long time ago, my reason is that I wouldn't want to eat wax! What about you, do you tissue off your lip color before eating?

Thanks for reading. Yahoo! Thursday is a Holiday for those who are in Malaysia!

The Barely There Purple EOTD

Hi Readers

Today is a lazy Saturday. Despite that I would like to share a natural Purple EOTD that I wore to work during the week. Sorry I did not take pics of the products used. The pictures are not too clear as I was in a hurry.

I used the Empro mascara for this look and you can see that my lashes are longer. (usually I omit mascara)

Thanks for visiting.

Product Review: Skin Food Honey Glossy Rouge Lipstick

Dear Friends

I don't know about you but I am extremely happy when my lip color is finishing. It means that I did not waste my money.
My Skin Food Honey Rouge is another success story i.e. finishing the product soon.
I consider the product finished when it reaches the plastic rim i.e. when you no longer can apply straight from the tube. I know of a friend who will finish her lipstick using lip brush. That's great but I am not like her. I will consider my mission accomplished when it is "flat". (play cheating a bit).

What about you? Do you scrape all the products until it is 100% used up?

OK. Back to the review.
Obviously this is one of the lipsticks that I adore. Else, I would not be able to use it until this stage.

I like the texture of this lipstick as it is very moisturising.
I like the color as it looks natural, not too pink for me.
I like the smell of this lipstick as it does not have a waxy smell but a pleasant sweet smell, close to honey smell.
I think this lipstick is selling at RM20 ++.
Personally I would rate this lipstick 4/5.
The only set back is that the color range is very limited.

The color is 353

Love

Purple EOTD

Hi Friends

Happy New Year! Hope that you have made some resolutions.

I have made some resolutions but they are not connected to make-up.

Anyway, I will share with you a purple look. The key color is black. I am using the black color from Elizabeth Arden which I did a mini review earlier.
I love this color as it is super pigmented and easy to work with.
I am using the STAGE angle shadow brush shown below to blend the color.

Hope you like this look.
